Have been reading this forum for awhile and decided to join. Test drove a Mini Cooper S last Saturday and was surprised how much fun it is to drive. Currently driving a BMW 6 series and looking to cut back on expenses. The lease rates seem to be way off base for what one can drive a BMW or Mercedes or any other high end car. Then decided to just purchase and even financing thru BMW finance the rate are wild? Before you ask my score is 780 so it is not a credit issue... ??

We got our best interest rate through our credit union.

If you are a member of a credit union or can join one they almost always have better rates. When my husband bought my car back in September American Airlines Credit Union gave us 5.25% for 60 months and then gave us another .25% off for direct deposit with a credit score about the same as yours. I love our credit union!!!
