Hello NAM, I've just replaced new suspension on my 02 MCS after 65K miles using OEM components and now i'm getting "poping and clacking" sounds from all four corners. 1,100 dollars and many hours waiting at 4 different shops later nothings seems to help. Defective shocks and struts? or other components? Don't really want to spend anymore money until I know for sure what the problems are. Help!!!

 

All for corners ? that is weird but usually poping and clucking sounds comes from loose sway bar links. Make sure those are really tighten and you may even use some blue loctite. You can check it yourself so Don't spend anymore money.

Take the wheels of and use a 16mm wrench to hold the bolt from spinning and tigthen the nut with a 17mm. Even tho it might look tight, these usually end up being loose and clunk around. If that dosent work, then try tightening the nuts on top of the shock towers.

Well, just got back from another shop, dont have any idea why the suspension is making those noises. The mystery continues........
