Hello MINI community

Hi everybody

I think, it's time now to introduce myself.

My name is Martin, and i'm a big fan of MINI's and finally i have the chance to get one, i've been reading the all the post for about 3 months trying to get as much information as possible to get the best impression of the car.

My target is an S model, so i took a test drive about 3 weeks ago, I really like the interior, its quite funky and i love that ,out side well its good to get some heads turning (new experience). And the driving, well it was an automatic, (it was the only they had for the task). I like how solid it feels, even with the sunroof, which i don't like because it doesn't block the most of the light and gets quite hot inside, i think i can live without that third window.

So i did order my MCS just a week ago, here are the specs for it.

This is a packet called Salt which is the first of three for the S. (and the only doesnt include sunroof)

color:BRG/B
Black Bonnet stripes

wheels: Swinder 16"

the rest of the info

Thanks for the "assimilation" Gromit , i see you have a BRG, thats good. is it really hard to keep the paint in good shape?

I forgot to put the rest of mi mini's spec, so here it is:

Cloth seats (hate sweating on leather and too expensive)
DSC
Sportive suspension (extra)
Multifunctional leather steering wheel (cruise control)
Slip Differential (extra)
Arm Rest
Anthracite interior roof (extra)
Color Liner Cream White (extra)
Piano Black (extra)
Automatic Air Conditioner
Bluetooth preparation
Rear fog lamps
Lots of nets to store.
Halogen head lamps.
Chrome interior line
Floor mats

I’m getting the serial number next week and the long waiting process has just started, and if it flows as water I could have my car near my birthday.

BTW I haven’t seen many BRG/B combos over here, I just wonder why?. If there’s any rise your hand.

Regards.

Welcome Martin. Glad to have you. Now you can spend your down time reading about all the really neat things you can do with or to your new MINI.

Now let me introduce Cuman

Well i thought this day would never arrive but it did.

Yesterday i went to the dealer to pick my Mini, and I was glad to see every detail was just perfect, It was worth to wait about 3 months to be built and delivered and yes quite close to my birthday (next monday).

My MA was so glad to give a Vodka bottle to celebrate a key ring, usb memory, and some other stuff, and also configure my BT phone.

Now the name of it, well I decided to call it Cuman, I think it matches the color combo.

Here's its first picture, sorry for the quality it was with the phone and quite dark, it hasn't got plates yet,

Now I’m thinking of the first mods :

1. Tint windows, not too dark %50 maybe.
2. Grill head lamps, still thinking about it.
3. Black out the crome, it’s quite shinny.

Thanks to all NAM, I've learn a lot about Minis here, I'm afraid I'll become OCD with this little one.

Thanks for all your comments.

Regards.
