Dealer negligence?
Not yet, but I would assume that they would be liable. Give them the chance to make things right first, then you might need to hold their feet to the fire.
What did the do wrong, and which dealer are we discussing, if I may ask?

The GM of the dealership is totally backing out of any responsibility.
Of course the mechains state they didn't touch my wheels.
But, they commented on my aftermarket brake pads and the condition of the rotors. Hmmm?
It will be very interesting once I get the wheel hub replaced and the suspension bearing noise goes away, to see what his position is at this point.
The dealer wanted $850 to replace to bushings that NOW is obvious that it was a wheel that had not been torqued down. All of this happened within 30-40 miles after my MINI left their shop. Two visits in two days and a mechanic even drove my car and still stated I needed to replace the suspension bushings.
It looks like the claims court is my only avenue at thispoint.
