Hi everyone I just bought a cooper S 05 and I LOVE IT!!!looking for a roof mount and rack so i can hit the slopes.does anyone know where i can get a good price in Toronto, Canada.I tried BMW and they said the one they have has to be pre drilled - I dont like the sounds of that.can anyone helpthank youMark

 

The factory roof rack is very, very good. Yes, they have to drill holes in the roof of the car to install it, but it is the best roof rack you can get for the car. Just don't get the MINI snowboard carrier, which is pretty bad. A Thule snowboard carrier works with the factory roof rack (do a search and you'll find a thread on here from me about it).

There are other "clip on" roof rack options, but they are not as strong as the factory rack, and more likely to cause scratches on the roof when installing / removing the rack.

 

any luck finding a snowboard rack? I found this one which is a universal snowboard rack works pretty well.
