Finally...

I had to wait longer than most of you lucky people in Week 42, and sailing on the Isolde, but I finally have my MCS. Business trips keep sending me overseas at very inconsiderate times, so I've only had one week and one weekend to play so far

There are a few issues that I need to get sorted out, but generally it is everything I hoped for and so much more. A couple of pictures to introduce "B BUMBLE" - vanity plate on order.

Nice! I really like that color combo ... it's decidedly British.
Gongrats, and good luck!

Thanks. As a transplanted Brit now living in California, I'll definitely take that as a compliment

Congratulations on a fine color combination. Your car looks great. Good luck in finding some additional time to go out driving.

Glad to see you finally got your Mini... how did EB and Blair take care of you... so far they have been GREAT with me. They have went above and beyond in customer service... The parts guy named Russ is also up there in taking care of customers... Just finished installing the mud flaps tonight here at the fire station... very easy install - I am surpurised at all the plastic on these little cars...

I never got to meet Blair since he was off the day I picked up my car...

The car wasn't actually ready at the appointed time, and to be honest they could have done a better job of prepping it, but in general the experience was fine. I've had much, much worse!

A few more days driving the car now I am back home for a bit, and it's getting better every mile.

Prett Loaded...

Pretty well loaded, but I haven't figured out the abbreviation set yet...
Mellow Yellow Body Color
Black Roof / No Bonnet Stripes
Chrome Line Exterior
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Sport Package (17" Web-spokes)
Convenience Package
Sport Suspension
Limited Slip Differential
Rear Fog Lamps
Lounge Carbon Black Leather
Mellow Yellow Color Line
Interior Surface Piano Black
Anthracite Headliner
Chrome Line Interior
10-Speaker. Hi-Fi Sound System
Navigation System
Alarm System
Ipod Adapter (Dealer fit)

I'm happy with most of the toys, although still many left to try. Biggest issue to date is noise on the Bluetooth connection, but I haven't had time to take it back to a dealer yet.

I am also looking to change out the cream piping for MY to match the colour line. There's a trim shop locally that has done good work for me before that I hope will be able to handle it.
