Im picking mine up tommorrow!!!but i had no dealer options installed

 

I picked up my mini this afternoon! I'm in NoVa, so it only took about 10 days from VDC to dealership, including a 4 day weekend and installation of sport stripes.

So does anyone else now notice how irritating speed limits are?

Im in NY, Got my Mini in Jersey and Picked it up Today!!! Love it but the Cup holder is a huge eye sore. I took if off by pulling down on the bottom bars and it slipped out of the tube. Much better. I also have a the chrono Package, and bought the garmin nuvi 760, I suction cuped the thing to the chrono package, so i can only see the gas gauge. The only thing i have to keep track of anyway is the Gas gauge, all the rest is not really need. Also I was gonna get the Kuda attachment for the garmin but ill just keep the gps stuck on the chrono gauge.

 

what is the chrono package? Also, what is the kuda attachment?

 

kuda, I guess is a the company name of a product to hold devices. Such as a GPS, or a phone. Its more a permanent solution to holding your gps than the standard suction cup.

Sorry, I sould of used the right terms...cockpit chrono pack, It moved the speedometer to the steering wheel.

 

Finally, I got my Cooper S, Chili Red with black bonnet stripes. For those of you who are aware of British soccer teams, red and black are Manchester United colors. Picked it up on New Year's Day. Great way to start the year.

 

I've got a question. The tracking link provided in this thread showed that my vehicle was discharged from the ship on 12/24/07 (in Charleston)...however the Mini site still shows it as 'En Route'. I called AskMini and my dealer and they both claim that it hasn't made it to the VDC yet. It's been two weeks. Does that make sense? Has anyone else whose vehicle was discharged in Charleston on the 24th heard any news/updates? I'm in Austin, TX...

 

I got my mini on Dec. 28. My MA said he didn't order the sport stripes until a few days before, which just made no sense, but at least he delivered when he said he would. I still haven't had the time to read all the manuals though. I'm sure there are mini secrets I'm missing!
