HELLO EVERYONE!

hi everyone, i am new to the group and would like to say that it's a pleasure to learn of this amazing site! i have my mini cooper S now for 1 year...it is my very first car and its really an amazing vehicle in eery aspect...i already have 28,900 miles on the cooper due to travelling to california twice and new york once back and forth from florida...i am very interested in knowing how many miles members have on their coopers so far as well as if it is a higher miles history, (over 100,000) how the car is running and performing... if i keep my mini cooper S in ultimate condition, oil changes, premium gas and cleaning etc, is it totally possible to get to 200,000 miles or at least 150,000??

again, thanks alot for this great group and look forward to hearing from everyone....p.s. you can check out my mini on my web site at:
http://www.myspace.com/bridgehorse just click on the default pixx on top left

Welcome to NAM! If well cared for, your MINI should have no problem reaching 200,000!

Welcome to the NAMily! I can't really answer the longevity question - I just turned over 18k yesterday in 13 months. You sure do make up excuses to run errands with these cars.....

thank you!

thanks for your reply! i wish i could have 18,000 miles again...i already have 28 grand...but i figure if i did not take those 3 trips back and forth, i would have only 15,000 and change which is how many miles we should have per year on a car....at least it was straight highway driving for me, which i suppose is good for any car....does any one know when the clubman will be out?? i would love to buy that car with a vengeance!
