I'm not an owner, but an enthusiast. I'm a member of "ZIPCAR" here in New York City. ZIPCAR owns several Minis, including some convertibles. With the ZIPCAR, I log on to the site, reserver the car I want to borrow (as late as ten minute notice) to the the garage where they are kept, swipe my card in the reader and drive off. The keys are already there.

That's too funny. I saw the ZIPCARs (including MINIs) running all over Boston when I was there last month. I was wondering what they were all about. Very cool...
