Hello:with ???

Just got the MiniS about 2 weeks ago, got it used with about 30,000 miles on it, it is a 2003 model, I guess the previous owner wanted to get rid of it since the warranty had gone out... My wife has wanted one of these for a while now, got a pretty good deal on this one, so we got it. The thing is a whip to drive... I really like it, but we are having trouble with the power windows not wanting to work. I have been doing some reading on this and found out this seams to be the norm. for the Mini . So I am wondering....how much do the motors cost for the windows and is there a place on line that sells them at a decent price?

O yea, my name is Chris and from Western Ky (around Paducah). I don't suppose there are very many people on the site from this part of the country , but if so chime in and let me know.

Are you sure the warranty is over? You haven't tapped it out on mileage yet. I'd call ASKMINI and double-check before spending any money.

I thought it was 4 years or 40,000 miles..I just figured it was out of warranty. So what is this ASKMINI thing you speak of?

5 years or 50,000. Did I just make your day?

1-800-ASK-MINI. Give them your VIN and they can tell you anything you want to know. It's a great service.

What a bummer!!!

That was close. Too close. I bet you went from elated to depressed very quickly!

Good luck with the fix and enjoy your MINI!!!
