Just dropping in to thank everyone for this great thread on the whereabouts of the Isolde. My BMW is on board !! And I suspect i'm like everyone else, I check here every day (ok, twice a day) for any updates.

Are there any real time satellite views of Port Hueneme? Or maybe a web cam? I looked for both and found nothing.

i saw isolde on the map last night before i went to bed, CA time. I was wondering, when she docks does she disappear from AISlive?

Yes, the Isolde disappeared off of the AISTracker early this morning. We found ourselves with little to do this afternoon, so we ran up to Port Hueneme. It was foggy with light rain, not a lot of visibility, but we could clearly see the Isolde tied up to the dock. We were not able to tell if there was a ramp down and cars being unloaded or not. Our VIN and the booking number still show that all of the MINIs are still on board. The ship is scheduled to depart tomorrow (Monday) so I assume that either tonight, if they work nights, or tomorrow morning the cars will all be unloaded.

so my mini is being delivered right now to the vdc (unless its already there) which is awesome. im pretty excited!!

actually its at the vdc!!! hahaha woot!!! so i guess it'll be a few weeks for my kit to be installed and other fun bits on my car.

the intensity is just building by the moment lolol

it say its pretty good. i was thinking of getting a dslr but its too bulky for my tastes since i wont be able to carry it everywhere i wanna go. so yeah i plan on buying this camera if you guys steer me to it. i wanna use it for the first day when i see my mini.

geez about time the OL updated my status to at the VDC...I'm driving myself crazy here!! I wonder how accurate the OL is on status....what if really it was almost to my dealer

edit: PS just clicked on review order detail @ the OL and it says estimated delivery date of 11/17/07!!!! I hope its right!! ahhhhh

 

My car is now at the delivery center as well. Like the rest of you, this wait is killing me. I have even driven by the dealership at least once a day looking for my car or hoping that I will be lucky enough to catch it being unloaded from the delivery truck. But alas, no car as of yet.

But damm, is my garage clean in preparation for my new baby. I sweep the floor and then do it again in case i missed something. I even vacuumed the walls !!. Thats what i do to work off the nervous energy. If i didn't i would probably never sleep.

Well just checked the OL AGAIN and it now says estimated delivery of 11/15/07 so yesterday..hmm weird since it still says at the VDC, I wonder if its at my dealer and I can go and look at it? My MA still hasn't written me back about the status of my MINI. We'll see I hope my news is as good as some of you folks..best of luck

 

give your ma a call... see if they will let you see your car before they start prepping/installing options to your car... my ma said that he'll call me before they install the kit so i can do before and after pics... so im really looking forward to it... :D

 

If I dont hear anything tomorrow morning I'm going to give her a call, not getting anything installed at the dealer, her original estimate was friday the 16th or saturday the 17th, maybe she just waiting to surprise me any estimate when u should be taking delivery?

 

because i gotta install the jcw kit... they said first week of december... hahah... if i didnt get the jcw kit... it would have been next week... how weak sauce is that huh?

 

pretty weak sauce for sure but on the other hand you are getting the JCW Kit, so thats def. well worth the wait. I didnt even know that was dealer installed, I always thought they did that at the VDC, guess not I can't believe it takes that long

 

so great news for me.

my car is here at east bay mini and i plan on going on sunday to go take pictures of the mini with before the jcw kit and then after which is the day i pick it up.

it just arrived 30 minutes ago hahahaha

 

AWESOME! Congrats! I talked to my MA and she gave me the best news to date! My MINI is ready for pick up at 2:30pm Saturday November 17th!! I can't control myself now! I will post pics of delivery after I get done motoring all day!!! Hope everyone gets their MINIS soon!
