New - Ex bimmer and benz guy converting

Well I dont offically have a mini yet but plan on it. Honestly i never liked mini's but seeing a raced out one and realizing they can be pretty bad *** AND CHEAP on gas I found a new level of respect and potential for them and i'm gonna commit and get a MCS. I dont know much about these cars but i plan on doing my hw and hope i can have a great experience on this board as i've had on other bimmer and benz fourms.

Recent Cars that came and went (in no praticular order): 99 BRABUS E320, 98 Hamann 540i, 03 Total Chaos Tundra, and 01 X5(current and for sale; 65k)

You sound like our family. We made the decision along those lines.

Our 06 E350 is a piece of crapola, so it's outta here and I won't re-up in the Benz family of vehicles. I sold our Lexus LS430 as it was a great car, but not very gas friendly and what can you do to fluff it up [nothing]?

So, the MINI S is the whip of choice for commuting back and forth to work 72 miles round trip each day and having some fun while I'm doing it.

Benzos and Bimmers are nice rides, but a little expensive and gas hungry for my needs.

We just picked up our MCS on saturday, and after two S turns in the car I can tell you right away that it handles LOADS better than my bimmer.

Can't wait to autoX both cars to see the true difference...

OK, look for-

2007 MINI Cooper S with 6 speed manual transmission and order from factory-

Limited Slip Differential
Keep the Stock 16" S-Winder wheels with runflat tires and upgrade to whatever you want later with non runflat tires.
Consider the John Cooper Works Aero body Kit if interested- nicest looking aero kit available

Later on you can upgrade the suspension so it can handle even better and take it to the track.
