New owner awaiting delivery in Boston

Just wanted to introduce myself to the community, have been reading the posts and enjoying the humor that runs throughout.

Ordered my MCS on 9/16

Dark Silver
Black Roof and Bonnet Stripes
Premium Package
Cold Weather
DSC
Xenon's
Center Arm Rest
Fluid Silver Interior
Rear Fog

Vanity Plates on the way COOP57 - Coop for obvious reasons and 57 is my lucky number. I also got COOP057 for my motoring ID.

I will be trading in my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Sport with only 10k miles on it, so it is bitter sweet, since I love the soft top on those hot summer days and nights. But those long trips to western MA to visit my father with Alzheimers was taking more of an impact on the environment then I wanted. 13MPG is just not the legacy I want to leave.

At my current pace, I think it will take me 3-4 months to get past the break-in peroid.

I am looking forward to the safety of the mini, the low center of gravity, and not having my stomach in my chest during those frequent mass pike brake checks.

Now I need to figure out how I want to transport my Golden Retriever, seats up with seat protectors or seats down with the whole back cover thing.

Any one else order the rear fogs so they would have all the switches in the console?

Welcome to NAM and congratulations on your new mini order . Dark silver + black roof = great choice [same as my order].

I went for the rear-fogs as well but just to be on the safe side in Seattle traffice

I didn't know you could order personalized license plates without having the car already

@miniphatty - Thanks, the lead time is 12-14 weeks on the plate, so I figured I could get ahead of the game, I asked the reg if it was ok, they said yes.

@rockridge - Thanks, Herb Chambers mini. Not too far from where I live, and I can take public transportation to home/work when it needs service.
