Hi there
Hi there
Decided to join rather than just search for useful info.
Second Mini
first was a 2004 Cooper BRG/White Cold/Sport/Premium
in the shop 11 times in a year traded it after I couldn't get drivers door open from inside or outside one day.
Second and current is a 2005 S that is almost completely blacked out (for under $80 so far).
My wife is the luck one who gets to call the car(s) her daily driver. I'm just the guy who gets to black it out and drive it occasionally.
I happen to be one of the founding members of www.illinoiseuro.com if you're in Illinos stop by, we welcome any Euro makes (even my Vespa)

thanks,
so far so good. only issue is the flywheel is chattering that's getting fixed under warranty next week.
I'll be posting up a DIY on wrapping the door handles in the next week or so on my forum as well as linking it here. Those and the grille are the last 2 bits of chrome before the Joey Mod.
The Joey Mod is the one that has me nervous. My Golf was easy because it has 150,000 miles so if I broke a lamp I wouldn't feel too bad. These are $1000 Xenons
Hey Silver you stole my screen name by the way. TDIclub.com and IllinoisEuro.com only on Illinois Euro I changed it to AKA Silverbullit.

Pics up. Car going in for chattering flywheel today so no blackouts to be added today. I am going to get some more vinyl today though so I can finish when I get MightyII back. (the BRG/W was Mighty)
Joey modded the headlights. Caved and did the areo grille even though I liked the stock one wrapped black (not my car). Door handles are wrapped (no DIY sorry it was a PITA but only like 4-5 steps). Did the stock exhaust tips in flat black too. (Gotta get a picture up on that.)
