MINIs in the World

Hi gang - I am a newbie and have been on the forum for a few weeks, started following my Mini and been having fun... If you have not found this site or tried playing with it - its a blast - http://www.mini.com/mini_worldwide/mini_worldwide.html

Here you can go to the configuator for countries around the world and compare... just for fun, I went to the England site/ Britian = I was surprised they had a few options we do not have, I build a Mini like the one I build and ordered here - just to compare prices.... got a bottom price in English pound and then converted it to US Dollars - I was surprised the Mini I got here in Ca for $20,450 would cost $28,024 over there - converting pounds to US dollars... just fun to compare and play with...

Not sure why you are surprised, it has always been more expensive to live in England than here in the US. If you think the price of the Mini is bad, check out what they pay for gas.
