Hello All

I'm actually in the process of trying to pick up a mini.
I originally wanted one when they first came out but couldn't justify getting one with the mark up on it.

Finally decided i should get one and have been looking around again. Saw a few that i like and will be looking at them soon.

This sites looks to have lots of good information.
I'm a regular at many other car sites like bimmerforums, tehdriven, dtmpower, honda-tech, and so on. So i am not new to car forums at all.

I currently own a 95 M3 that i enjoy improving on and hitting the track. The mini will eventually do the same. I plan on keeping my m also.

I was thinking just a basic mini and not the s since it will be used more for a daily unless i can find an s model for a good deal.

I'm going to head over to NW Mini later today to check some more out.

Welcome to NAM, nice M. A friend just sold his to a guy in Texas, so he could get a nice 99 Ferrari 360.

Check here in the cars forsale, some interesting MINIs have been making the lists. The white Cabrio is a looker and price is right for a new Cab., it has nice mods.

Don't overlook Craigslist, not sure if you want to travel for your MINI, but the Denver area has a pretty deep listing.

Iv'e heard that before, " just want a basic" then when you find out how fun it is to drive you will be saying, " why didn't I get a S". Plus gas mileage is only a couple MPG different, just my .02. But welcome to NAM either way .

having an old M like that to go with the MINI would be ideal for me! Welcome to NAM. I hope your plan works out. Those are two awesome cars!

Thanks for the welcome.

Only been looking locally for a few days now for mini's. If it was a good price and an s i would definitely travel for it.

The s is what i originally wanted but found a good deal on a basic mini and can't make up my mind.
