Do my eyes deceive or are we about half way?

AskMINI says I'm at the port. OL says I'm awaiting transport. I've given up on both of them until the 16th. Do they actually drop off cars in Baltimore? Is there a VDC there? Just curious.
I was gonna ask the same, seems the Patriot has made quite a good bit of progress! I'm pretty sure the only VDC's are New York (New Jersey actually), Charleston and Port Hueneme. But glad to hear I'm not the only one with QUITE the delayed status - my OL and AskMINI are reporting the exact same.

WOOT, for those of you who haven't seen, the good ole cap'n has checked in yet again as of an hour and a half ago! Three times today (12pm, 6pm and 12am) not bad.

Falsten and KevinV -- if you have it, can either of you post your booking number for the Liberty? Curious to see if my VIN is showing at port yet -- the OL tracking hasn't updated but I was told it was there yesterday. Thanks!

4 days out from NY, and then on to SC. w00t! My MINI is sending out vibes to me - the closer it gets, the more it's on my mind.

Just 4 dayssss, I totally feel you on the vibes; I thought my obsession for my MINI would abate during the 9 days at sea but it's only mounting! Two questions for any of you who may know... Is NY the first stop for the Patriot and any idea of when in the day it's estimated to arrive???

Yes NY is the first port stop of Patriot, and there is no posting of what time a ship will arrive. Once she is near the US coast you can track here on the AISfree maps, then you will know when she docks within a couple of hours, since AIS is lagged a bit.

Thanks so much, Tharkun! Glad to hear NY is first port she'll be stopping at; wouldn't want to get delayed anywhere up North (I actually thought it stopped in Canada first).

Gosh, it looks like the Patriot is making very good time. I wonder if they'll get in early?

I'm sure glad the Captain is so good about reporting!!!

I'm giddy with anticipation. I can't imagine what it's like for people who wait MONTHS for their MINI's. I don't think I could sustain this level of anxiety for that long!!!

Isn't it!?! I'm actually wondering the same and although one would think that's too good to be true, it just seems SO close already; I can't imagine it'd need another full 3.5 days to reach NY! But yea I definitely couldn't imagine waiting any longer then I already have to either. THANK GOODNESS the process has been going rapidly thus far (check my signature); here's to hoping that it breezes right through the VDC as I'm definitely starting to lose my mind in waiting...

Wah! After a most frustrating two weeks of not finding my car on the WW website, I just found it on the Patriot! Loaded on the 1st, so hopefully it's.... close.

Since this was the last reporting on the sailwx site, she will be out of this reporting system. Patriot will show up next on the AISfree maps. It could be another 24 - 36 hours before in range of the AIS system, just depends on her speed. The WW site is still showing arrivial at NY on the 10th, so does not appear she will arrrive early......but ya never know with WW ships.

Search for Patriot on this url:
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...esselSearch.do
and you will see that it is due into:
New York 9/10
Baltimore 9/12
Charleston 9/15

Hmmmm looks like since the Patriot is so close (actually in view of New York on the map) it has stopped with the updates on sailfx... Anyone able to tracking it on AIS??? I tried signing up myself but cannot get it to work. It definitely looks like it's set to dock EARLY tomorrow though, so that's a major plus!

Oh, and if anybody cares, I've also been using Shine Micro Live AIS Display. This site uses a Google underlay which means it looks better but it's much slower. I'm not sure about how quick it updates positions though.

Anyway, it's a free signup and here's the link.

Shinemicro does do better at times, but be aware that the google version is a beta and is not real reliable at times.

Hahaha, you most definitely are not the only one so don't even feel the least bit bad. Thanks for the link to Shine Micro, I'll check that out as well!

At times on AISfree when you are tracking a ship, she can drop off of the map for no apparent reason and then re-appear hours later. So ya have to be patient with the software, it is lagged by an hour or more, but still better than not having a clue to the status of your ship.
