Zero to owner in less than a week
Greetings all!
I've just finalized a whirlwind courtship with a new Mini. I got it in my head I wanted one a bit over a week ago, researched madly since then. Including lots of good information from this site. Went for a test drive last night. And just got off the phone from putting down a deposit on an 07 Cooper S convertible in Laser Blue. Options I got are the platinum package, chrome line package, interior body colour trim and the chrono package. Very sweet looking car, can't wait to pick it up next week.

Pictures are forthcoming, no worries there as I am a huge photo buff. Looks like I will be picking it up Tuesday. Still not sure if I will get any sleep Tuesday or if I will just drive around all night with the top down under the stars.

Congrats!... I bought my 07 R56 MCS 4 days before MOTD 5 "minis on the dragon" we drove down with 300 miles on car came back with 3000 miles we love the car " I MEAN GO CART" u will 2. .P.S. my wife did not want 2 go we allready booked 4 next year the car is that much fun! later.

Sorry, Rockies, but rules are rules. Just be glad you didn't use the words "hood" or "trunk" in your opening post. The penalty for that.... well, we don't like to speak of it publicly.

Ah, sorry. Guess I should have mentioned I am in Canada. I'm just going by what is on my invoice, I think the packages are different up here. From the mini.ca website:

It is hereby decreed that all Canadian MINI owners who purchase a Laser Blue MCSC with the Platinum package shall be required to post a minimum of 9 photographs of said MINI. These photographs shall be posted on the NAM board within a time period not to exceed 72 hours from the date of delivery.
