Was 6sp an option in '05 or '06 for the regular MC? Shopping for a used one if I see a 6sp does that mean it's got a blower? (Assuming it's not a tranny swap of course). Saw one post about the gear ratios being bad without the S/C but was it even orderable from the factory?

If you are looking at an MC prior to the 2007 is is going to be a 5sp. Only the S had a 6sp before 2007 model year

 

If its got a 5-speed its an MC. If its got the 6 speed its an MCS. If its got a 'blower' it is supercharged and is an MCS. If it doesnt have a blower, it is an MC. I am not absolutely certain, but I think the 6 speed was only offered in the MCS. I havent heard anything bad about the way the 5 speed is set up, but that doesnt mean people havent said anything.
