Hey everyone

Hi everyone, I just ordered my MINI the other day and am super excited about it. I really wanted to take one off the lot but my wife convinced me that I needed to order one and wait...:impatient Anyway, it's going to be a Pepper White MCS with black sport stripes. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone as I wait impatiently for my new car

Congratulations! My wife also encouraged me to order rather than buy off the lot. I've been delighted with my specific and unique car. You will be too!

Hey Salty,
I'm waiting too. My wait time is longer 'cuz the boat has to dock on the west coast via Panama. Adds two weeks! I'm sure the wait will be forgotten once I'm in the driver's seat. The biggest problem will be stopping to get out and go to work etc.

Glad I ordered with so much different in the '07 coupe. I've heard some gripes about the 'center stack' (area below the speedo) looking cheesy, but the stuff that makes the car go sounds way awesome -- and I think that's what counts!

Welcome Salty, best to order and wait, get what you want. One of the FUN things about a MINI among many others is the tracking of your MINI with other NAM folks with the same build week or on the same ship as it crosses over to the States.

All of you enjoy them when you get them. I took another 120 mile drive today, what a hoot.

Hey Salty, I was in your shoes 6 weeks ago but tomorrow I am picking up my car. MCS Sparkling Silver, black roof and mirrors, racing stripes front and back, center arm rest, english oak, DSC, MFSW, stock bridge spokes. Wanted sirius but to late when it went into production. Pretty basic but my choice which is the best way to buy. I think you appreciate it more. Good luck and welcome.

thanks everyone, I just entered in my production number in owners lounge so I've been obsessively checking to see when it's going to be born.

Welcome to NAM Salty!! I bought my 06MCS off the lot as it had everything I wanted and a little more. After reading the posts of those poor souls waiting for delivery, I'm not sure I could have handled that. Anyway, you'll be diddie boppin around Dallas before you know it.

I'll admit, I calmed myself by buying a used Saab Aero for my wife during the wait! I guess it was guilt. She let me order the MINI so I wanted something better for her. End of the season soccer party, bunch of drunk soccer players, car talk: I'm so gald we got the deal because I was driving fast while waiting for the MINI, if you know what I mean. In Rock in Roll speak, Love the one you're with!

Hi, Salty! Welcome to NAM! Any idea of when you'll take delivery? The wait is deliciously painful.....will make delivery even sweeter!

Welcome to NAM, you will deffinately enjoy the car. I didn't get one on the lot, but i did get mine pre-configured and still on a boat. I was able to take delivery on Friday. But man that car is so much fun. I can't wait to drive it up Palomar Mountain.

I used to live at the bottom of Palomar(Pauma Valley). What a perfect road for a MINI.
