After talking to the banks and the dealer I will be slipping into my new 07 MC within the next week or two. I couldn't wait to find the community that loves this car and it's heritage. It's sitting on the boat awaiting arrival in California.

Nightfire red with the Sport package, Premium package, 17" wheels, piano black interior, HID's, and the checkered cloth interior. I will deffinately post up pics once I get it.

 

Oops. 16's not 17's and Sport seats, not Sport package. But meh. The word from the dealer is that it just hit the port, which means that any day I will have my new mini.

Gah... I just realized the MA didn't have my phone number since the whole deal was started by email. So an email was sent. It's just sitting in Oxnard. I am going crazy here, I just want to drive it home.

 

Well the dealer pushed my hand and offered an earlier delivery with a BRG MC with te Sport Package, let me be honest I love the BRG and the NFR was chosen because the BRG had a seemingly further out deliver date. Guess not. So I will be taking an extended lunch and getting the car on Friday.

 

Congratulations fellow prospective MINI owners. I, too, am awaiting my first MINI. Been shopping for 2+ months. Now that it's the end of the month/quarter, Midwestern dealers are willing to deal below MSRP!

My MA just called now the car will be available tomorrow. They just know how to push and pull those emotions.

Yeah I just drove it home, man what a fun car that is to drive. I even hit the freeway to get back to work. I am so happy

 

I'm picking mine up tomorrow (Saturday). Can't wait! Have a fellow Mini owner ('74 Austin Mini) joining me for a train trip to Chicago and then an exhilerating ride home.
