Hi all, I have been lurking here for a year or so. Mini is in my DNA; we had three when I was growing up (I am 44), two drivers (1100s) and a Mini Moke that we raced w/ a 1275 Cooper S motor. Dad won the SCCA NE division Pennsylvania Hillclimb championship (E Mod) in the mid-70s in the Mini Moke. I've attached a picture of that car.

Dad and I restored a lot of british and italian cars over the years and I was excited out of my mind when the "new" Minis came out. In '03, I bought a used 2002 Cooper S from a british guy here in DC (whose dog was also named Cooper, so I knew i couldn't go wrong). My baby is black w/ about 24k miles, no mods at this point. It is my commuter car and I drive the crap out of it.

I came here hoping to find info on mild power upgrades (i.e., the Dinan stage 1) as well as ideas on other (darker) wheel possibilities since I am tired of cleaning the stock silver wheels.
