Any Damage?

I know there were a few horror stories, but I never did get the full tales. I have one of my own. First my whinshield cracked, a LOT. I had a small crack, but on Saturday after I washed my MINI I saw that it had more then doubled in size! I was most upset.

Also I had my tires rotated and balanced when I got back, and seems that I bent one of the rims. I can almost say that it was the trip upto Mt. Evens that did it. At this moment I am glad I bought the extra rim coverage.

It didn't happen at MitM, but, on the way there I caught a rock as we got into Colorado that put a large crack in my windshield, too.

A few more stone chips in the front. After a while (really after you get over the sinking feeling of that first DING) each nick and ding tells a story, as you can always remember where you got it. Kind of like childhood scars. My first really big one -- near my L front headlight -- came somewhere along I-88 taking my daughter to socer camp. I always think about the time we got to spend in the car on those soccer trips around the midwest when I see it.
