Does it ever rain in Texas? Up here in the NE we have to worry about these kinds of things.
Haven't done any testing on water issues. Placement is such that it really should not be a problem. The ECU is in a covered CAI and the fuse block next to it is sealed. On the other side I can see that some water might get on the valve cover but the plug wires have a nice seal. I can't think of other places it may be an issue. I'm sure I'll need to be a bit more careful when washing so I don't flood the area.

btw. I keep forgetting to send out the sprayer. I swear i'll get it sent out monday. I've been on the road from mon-friday each week for the last 10 weeks... so im a little out of sorts.

I was wondering....but for the price I am not complaining. No rush, best that you keep your whits about you when on the road then worrying if you sent a sprayer or not. I'm patient.

just a thought from when I was googling for vents. Old school Lumina SS hoods were vented. They had nice inserts with drain pans underneath. perhaps score some on ebay and somehow attach the pans under the vents to divert any water? I don't think it would be an issue in any case, but there might be an OEM solution out there for the issue.

I agree!!

This project is awesome, (I'm very jealous) and yes his photo of my Bug-Guard is much better then mine because I wasn't going to take my car apart for sake of a photo. I do have my limits! (LOL). Yes, I will see if I can use that photo on my site and hopefully it will boost some sales, however, I can see the questions coming now about "do I have to take by hood and bumper off to install you guards?"

Best looking TR7 ever.

Hope they hold up. Saw a Jag today at lunch with really nice vents also - but paint/filler was cracking around one of them. ugh.

REALLY nice work, gnat. Awesome.

That looks amazing. Makes me wish I had a reason to put vents in my hood.
