My wife (who blings out everything under the sun), blinged out her MCSC license plate frame

Are those stuck to the fender with 2-sided tape, and what kind are they?

The tape was used to line them up to drill the mount holes. They are actually bolted to the fender. I am just too lazy to remove the tape.

They are PIAA 002-X Extreme White. I got them from ebay for about $40-50.

here goes

here is my mini. The only things that I have done so far is put the black stripes on the boot and then put the 1/2"silver on the outsides of the black stripes. I don't know whats next, but I'm sure I do something else soon! Let me know what you think.

I would keep them blue if I were you. Fits the MINI color, plus blue is just awesome!

too late, it's amber now to match the interior backlights.

looks 10x better now. the blue was fine, but there was nothing else
in the car that had blue lights.

Well I've finally reached the point where I'm ready to post here.....

I've done similar before, this is refined and here to stay, only change would be the idea crossed my mind last night to make the tach ring a gloss black like I did with my vents.

And mod #2, Near continuous height the whole way back, $12 in carpet and hinges, based on 3/4 inch particle board, strudy, gives me plety of room to hide things underneath and easy storage of itmes on top. It will recieve a cosmetic upgrade again in a few weeks after I order some parts, but overall look and function will remain the same. The boot area lifts up and is easly removed, teh seat area hinges are towrd the front of the car, when closed fornt holds the rear in place. It reduces my weight savings marginally but I think its worth the added functionality.

Now all I need to do is vaccum it. The colors of the carpet all match ver well just the way the funky light is hitting it coming throught the sunroof.

Other mods up to this point:

Turn signal bulbs blended (side and front) and the vent grilles blacked out.

Belt line is also blacked out

Partially Debadged

And occasional running of oragne tow hook.

GB MOTOR ON tag and SSM Grille Badge

Bogie Kill stickers

Upgraded headlights (low-beams only)

S200 Antenna

ALTA CAI with custom insulated box and custom box top and red S on the IC cover.
