In the latest MOTD update email Snooter asked if there was interest in a Collectable show and swap. WMW is thinking of sponsoring the event if there is interest, and I must admit I'm a collector too. So please post here if you are interested in the event. And if so do you want to show, swap, or just attend to see what others have? That way we can figure out the logistics.

 

What sort of collectibles? Just MINI related? I would attend and participate at some level depending on the details.

 

Yes just MINI related items. Things like toy MINI's, models, slot cars, Posters, brochures, MINI articles, die cast, memorabilia items.

 

I may have a few things sell and I'm always looking for mods/accessories for my MINI.

 

Tom and I are interested. I am always looking to add to the collection and we have a few duplicates that we would be willing to part with. In the Cabrio, space is at a premium so I am not sure how much I would be willing to cart down if I didnt know there was some interest. As it gets closer I will probably post some photos and try to gauge what people may be interested in if that's ok.

 

I'm interested if I go. I might be hosting the event, as well.

I have enough stuff for an interesting display including some really rare things.

 

I have about ten or so MINI Challenge Hot Wheels I wouldn't mind swapping or selling.

 

I am interested in buying. Particularly Cabrio stuff.

I have some models that I might bring for selling but I dont think I have any actual MINI sanctioned duplicates. I will do a major clean out in Feb/March and post the things I might be interested in selling.

BTW, is the collectible selling area on here closed? I keep a direct link bookmarked so I can check daily but the last 2 days it has brought me to the 'everything for sale' area. I cant seem to find the collectables for sale area anymore.

The last item is a little more unique. At MOTD 9 there was a garage flooring vendor. The vendor was handing out 'samples' of what the flooring was like. Printed on each sample was a map of the Dragon, a MINI and the MOTD 9 logo. Somehow I ended up with two of these. I am only open to trading for other MINI memorabilia for this item.



I am looking for the Dark Silver/ Checkered roof R50R MINI Robot from the Men of Metal series. If anyone has one of those that you might be willing to part with, please contact me.

I am also always interested in MINI advertising stuff, print ads and swag, particularly any of the first generation Cabrio ads and promotional items. I got Smurfette used so I am really trying to round out my collection of stuff from her era.

 

We have a few chrome accessories, that wouldn't fit Susi's car, new in the box, we would like to sell. See you in Fontana!
