power window issue, not the usual one.

Hi all, new user here. I have been using some DIY guides from this forum and they are useful. Thank you.

I now have a passenger side window on my R53 that is not moving. It is not fixed by hitting the door panel. I confirmed there is 11.5V at the motor connector. The voltage reversed polarity when I flipped the switch up and down. But it won't drive the motor even when I just connected a new motor held in my hand. If I connect the motor to the driver side connector then it would correctly turn both ways. No blown fuse.

Since the current came through the control module, my guess is that the control module somehow does not allow enough current to pass through. Does anyone have any other theories? TIA.

400+ views, no one has a clue? I am down to my last resort, which is to use the driver side circuit to control the passenger side window as well, after adding a switch to toggle between the two sides.

Could the ground line at the motor be bad? I might check for continuity to the body. Other than that I'm properly stumped.

I tried to verify the ground connection, only to find that it is not that simple. Window power is controlled by the computer, which reverse the polarity depending on the window switch position. So, there is no direct connection between the window motor and the chassis ground.
