Megan Coilovers Install and Suggestions
Hey guys! I know there has been several threads started up about Megan Coilovers on here but nothing too recent. With that being said, I was looking for some suggestions.
I'm installing mine this coming Friday and am wondering what you guys had as wheel set ups when running coilovers. I'm running 17x8.25 on 205/40 and don't know if I'll be needing spacers to accommodate camber and clearance, I get a decent amount of poke as it is.
This is also my first attempt at a suspension install, anyone have any pointers before attacking this?
Appreciate all the help, thanks all!

Give yourself plenty of time. Watch the videos. Have a nice torque wrench available. Lastly, for me, it was a grimy job, I got really dirty so have some good hand soap. =)
I did this install myself a few months ago, and its been great. The Megan coilovers are a great addition to the MINI. Mine's an old R53 and I really am happy with them. I like that the front has built in strut tower supports.
One thing I did wrong was not torquing down the top nut on the rear struts. They immediately started rattling around and it was double work to remove them and torque those things. Look up the tourqe specs and have them handy as you go.

Thanks for all the input!! This is hands down my most detailed install this far on my '12 MCS so I'm hoping for the best. Glad all you guys found your set ups to work well on your coopers, as well as it being a relatively practical install for a novice. I will keep all the advice in the back of my mind during the install for sure. Haha or I'll be asking for more advice come the weekend.
