Heatwrap or ceramic coating on carless DP
Soo I purchased a catless LP and it seems like the egine bay gets terribly hot, anyone suggest heat wrapping? I know heatsoak isn't usually a problem with such small amounts of boost, but geez it took 1+ hours to cool down to install stuff today! All opinions are welcomed

1hr is not so bad. The turbo heats up pretty good. I prefer to wait at least 2-3hrs, or better yet, let it sit over night and wrench the next morning.
As far a the DP. I never dealt with wraps, but I will tell you that my Ceramic coated DP holds in heat very well. I drove for over an hour when I first installed it and I was heavy on the throttle, you could pretty much hold the pipe with some thin gloves after it was parked for about 15 mins. The tech at Euro Motors was impressed.

Hi any chance you know the length of the downpipe? Trying to get a quote for ceramic quoting and was asked for the length, the part hasn't arrived in my hands so can't measure.
