Bluetooth compatibility list

I've been reading thru threads about bluetooth and compatibility with the MINI system. Some people had alluded to other people who sync'd phones that wasn't on the http://www.wireless4mini.com/phones.html list. I'd like to make this thread be a list of phones people have found to be compatible with the MINI's factory system. For discussions about bluetooth, or how to sync phones, where to buy phones, aftermarket bluetooth, etc, please let's leave that out of this thread.

nicknbecka's been doing a great job of keeping a list up to date. I've removed my list and replaced it with a link to his list which I found in his signature area.

Bluetooth Phone Compatibility with R55, R56 & R57

All hail nicknbecka for his continued and tireless effort to keep an up-to-date list of this.

Oh, I'd like to list phones that work and phones that don't work. I made the mistake of trying to replace my broken Razor V3 (#7 key stuck) with the below two Samsung models, both of which I had a differing degree of frustration.

NO CONNECTION: Samsung Blast
CONNECTION but drops Buetooth randomly: Samsung Katalyst

To add to the list...

GOOD:
Apple iPhone
AT&T Tilt
Motorola Razor V3
Motorola v325i
Nokia 8620

BAD:
Samsung Blast
Samsung Katalyst

As this list grows, it might be a good Idea to keep it in alphabetical order for quicker reference.

The iphone works flawlessly and now the cradle "eject box" is available from BMW. (BMW part # 84 10 9 182 792). The eject boxes fit into the armrest of the mini and the phones utilize the roof mounted antenna.

For those who get the sleeve from BMW remember that in order to truly connect directly to the car antenna the phone must have an external antenna jack AND the sleeve must have a fitting that plugs into it. Otherwise it supposedly "wirelessly" transmits the signal to the car antenna (whatever that means).

Has anyone installed this in their mini?
BTW: The Samsung MM-A900 works good (phonebook integration)

After a lot of time consuming research and phone calls I finally am able to use the Blackberry 8830 to MINI with even phone book transfer. However, you will need a OS 2.2.176 (platform 3.0.0.79) on your BB. Don't think there is a sleeve yet.

Also, I found out that any bluetooth should be compatible (at least the you will be able to make and receive calls if not the phone book transfer). You will need to update the OS on the phone unless it is a really old phone.

Thanks

Nokia E61 (for phone book sync you have to choose the v2 option in protocol of syncing in the (Phone Symbian) Pc Suite Settings).

Samsung SGH-X820 ok, but you can not call from the nav... you have to dial or search the contact in the phone and then dial (I dont know why...)

Thanks for all the posts.
This is a ? we have been having as well. It seems that the www.wireless4mini.com list lists older phone models. Anyone see this? My Husbands co. offers 20% Discounts on our service, we will be switching carriers once MY 08 OB Baby arrives. The dealer did let us know that we would have to buy the cradle for the armrest, but if it only works for one type of phone and not ALL what's the point?

Yes the cradles are specific for each phone.

Was told that my LG VX5300 could be upgraded by Verizon so that it would be compatible. It had better be - perhaps I should give Verizon a call.

Just found this from an earlier post on 9/24/07:
