First time poster, long time owner
Hello all,
First time posting for me on here. I've browsed around on the forums a while, looking for information and such. I think I'll try and be a little more active since I picked up a classic. Currently living in the Bay Area, CA.
A history on my Minis (below I hope, if it doesn't show up, I'll try and get it fixed, do let me know if it doesn't show up):
One of the left is an R50, 2002. It's the first BMW mini to roll off a dealership's floor on March 22nd, 2002, my parents picked it up then and it's been mine since around 2010. It's got an America Flag decal on the roof that I need to get re-done. Everything else is stock, had a few things replaced on it that broke.
The one of the right is a recent buy (early Aug, 2014): a 1990 Mayfair Mini 1000. Last owner didn't take too good care of the internal parts, wires everywhere, oil leak, needs a bit of work. It is going to be my project car for the next few years. I have some new Falken 165/60 with Minilite wheels coming in sometime, and I've already placed some driving lamps to match my 02. I'll be mostly in the classic mini area asking for help on tips how to fix stuff or where to look up parts, after I use the search function.
