Manually changing a runflat tire

Does anyone have a resource for describing a method or combination of tire tools that could be used to manually break a runflat bead and remove the tire from a wheel. I have tried the harborfreight manual tire changer bead breaker to no avail. I live on a remote island and the only tire/mechanic service suggests a sawzall (reciprocating saw) for bead breaking. I have tried 24" and 36" tire irons, but cannot get under the tire. Invent the machine and I will be your first customer

what size is the tire? The off-road guys just lay the tire on the ground and then drive over just the tire with another car. That would break the bead. However they're still going to be a real bear to get to pull over the rim edge without a tire machine.

Have you changed tires manually before?

A sawzall? Really? Looks like V10climber has the same idea that I've used in the past.

Back in my Army days when we had the ole M151A2 Jeep and no fancy tools we had a way of breaking the bead on tires. We would simply lay the wheel on the ground, take another jeep and have it run on top of one side of the tire but not touching the rim. The weight of the other vehicle will break the bead, then simply flip the wheel over and do the other side. As always be safe. Not much room for error with the thin tires on vehicles today, but it might be worth a shot.

The driving over the tire with another car works for me every time.

I've changed a lot of tires...motorcycle, atv, tractor and pickup. Once I helped with a drive over on a pickup tire... but these runflats have such limited sidewall height. Are you saying you have seen this done with a mini wheel?

Check out YouTube. I just now looked there and saw several options that appeared to work well.
