12,000 feet. Trail Ridge Road just last week. Sounds as if there's a bunch of us that have enjoyed the views up there.

Anyones MINI been on an aeroplane?? That would beat everyone here. I already know what they call Mile High MINIS..... MINI MINI BANG BANG.

Load a MINI on a cargo plane and fly high enough, and it'd be MINI MINI BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!

The sodium azide propellant used in airbags becomes unstable at low atomospheric pressures, such as those that may be found in unpressurized aircraft compartments. This can result in spontaneous deployment. (Incidentally, this is why replacement airbags are shipped via ground freight.)

Interesting question! Of all the statistics and figures I've kept on my MINI, alttude and elevation has never even crossed my mind.

However, on our trip out West, we did cross the Continental Divide via I-40 in New Mexico. That elevation is around 7275', so that's not bad, I guess. We stopped, and I parked the car with the front wheels on one side of the marker, and the back wheels on the other, and took a picture.
