So I need some machine work done on a 2005 cooper S engine. Crank needs turned rods need machined. Any shops in eastern Washington that don't charge a arm and a leg. Also where is a good source for bearing's?

I can't point you to Mini specific in your area, but you'll be hard pressed to find a machinist that specializes in minis. Best bet is to find a reputable engine builder in your area and pay for reputation and experience rather than lowest bid. There is nothing about the tritech motor that would require specialty knowledge an experienced engine builder couldn't handle. Good luck.

Very true. I called the shop I go with on other engines. Well see what they say in a day or two.
