Talked to the JCW race team at VIR and got some nice info on mods

Based on the current rules of the Tudor series ST class. If you put it on the car, it has to be able to be purchased by non racers like most of us. Right now, they sell the carbon fiber flared fenders, but are working on a nicer clean install for a daily driver which should be out in the next few months.

Talking with the team owner, and the mini software programer, both great people, it seems there will be another tune box on the market by the JCW team, or LAP motorsports, in the next few months as well!!! They run the NM tune box on one car and with a straight exhaust get around 250 hp which works within the regulations, but have developed their own one for the other race car. On their street car JCW, they have hit 300 +- HP in testing!!! According to the team owner, they think they'll make the power settings switchable like other manufacturers have done so you can have around say 250 HP one day, and 300 HP the next if you want to take on some power house cars!

Overall, very excited about the future options to mod the JCW and I look forward to seeing the team develop their settings and cars to become the next great legacy in Mini racing history!

Interesting news, thanks for sharing.

I'm very interested in their front camber plates.

Is there a way to contact someone at LAP Motorsports/
I have written in via their website 2x and have never heard back.
I live near Indy and want to learn more about what they can do to my R53.

Anyone have an e-mail or contact #?
Thank you!
