When you are a drifter without a place to work on your Mini - What better place is there than a Walmart parking lot?... Tools, rest room, food and wide spectical of people... (the later can be kind of annoying when your flat on your back underneath your Mini with your nose pressed up against the exhaust - and people (or feet is all I could see), want to talk about how cool your Mini is. Arguably not the best time to try and socialize with someone trying to fix their car).

Whilst driving, heading back to the city (ABQ), I had this little guy run out in front of me crossing the road. I had never seen a road runner before (other than on Saturday morning cartoons), but he was kind enough to sit still for a moment for me to pull over and take his picture.

I finally found it! The last time I was here in NM 38years ago on contract, (myself, being an sculptor), I'd met someone who took me this incredible outdoor sculpture park in Santa Fe. Although I would never forget it - For the life of me I could never remember where it was! Unfortunately the sculpture park/garden was closed on the weekends.
