Stock wheel offset - Same as BMW?

I have a 2019 All4S Clubman and I am looking at a winter wheel set. I see the bolt pattern and center bore match BMWs of the same era. I have never paid attention to offset numbers on stock wheels. Does it matter with say an X1 set or can I assume that they would be fully compatible?

In answer to my own question the 2015+ X1 on 17" seems to have offsets of 39-52 while the F Minis with 17 are also 39 and 52 for the 6.5j and 7.5" wide respectively. UKL2. I should have started there first.

You can always look up the offsets (for BMW and MINI) on realoem.com.
