I'm gathering parts to replace brake pads & rotors on my 2019 JCW. I chose drilled & slotted StopTech rotors in front but don't think I need all the extra for the rears. ECS Tuning has a package of Zimmerman rotors & Akebono pads for the rear.
I've never heard of Zimmerman but Google dug up middling reviews on other auto forums, most from a few years ago.
Any feedback on Zimmerman or suggestions on something other than OEM rotors? Hoping to get decent quality & performance without a big price tag.
TIA.

I have been running Zimmerman discs on the front of my JCW for over 3 years now and have had no problems with them, they are oe equipment on some cars in Germany i believe.

@Capt_bj I totally agree. i checked Way's site this morning & saw Zimmerman there. That was enough for me.

Sorry but that isn't true, as I wish it was. There are many parts we offer that I wouldn't put on my car and don't recommend. I do this for a living and have to sell everything in order to stay in business even if I don't like it. I couldn't stay in business by only offering the parts I use on my own car as they won't always fit everyone's taste, budget, or goal.Originally Posted by Capt_bj

We always tell people to ask us as I give out free advise all the time. I do also have a gold seal I've put on many parts to indicate we 100% back it, or we have our own WMW brand too.
In ref to this thread Zimmerman rotors aren't bad and I've used them many times, just usually I have a more cost effective option depending on what car it is.
