Swapping RFT for proper Summer's

With the snows becoming a little greasy (3mm on the tread bars) Im thinking about Summer more and more.I have access to Employee pricing on Continental family of tires and want to switch out the Hancooks for a deidicated summer tire.

General G Max in 205 for $400 to my door, or ContinContact3 for $570 to my door. Which would you go with?

Also, it seems theres no other options in sizing. has anyone played with a 215/45 on the 17" rims?

I run 215/45-17s on my '17 JCW. I was extremely happy with the Continental ExtremeContact Sport, a Max Performance Summer tire. I recently replaced them with a set of DWS06 all-season tires because of travle plans I have that preculde summer tires. One caution;however, there is a slight chance the 215s will rub slightly on the shocks, but 5-10mm spacers will solve that problem.
