reasonably priced tires

I would like to find a set of reasonably priced tires for our Paceman that will last 50k miles.
Reasonably priced 18" tires. I'm just as cheap as the next guy, the Nanking tires $259/set of 4 didn't last very long.

This is the 3rd gen area. You will have much better luck if you post in the Countryman area, since the Countryman and Paceman are built on the same platform.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. Got them for under $90/corner after rebate, and have zero complaints.

These are the same exact tires as the Bridgestone RE003's that Mighty Car Mods use on a lot of their projects

A few months ago, I bought a set of 16" Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 tires from TireRack for $318.

They're pretty good street tires.
I don't plan on taking the Mini on the track so I can't comment on the high-speed, aggressive performance.
