WTB: Wintery Wheels/ Tires!
WTB: Wintery Wheels/ Tires!
Ahh yes, winter looms here in the mid-west. Its only a matter of time before we're all driving in slush.
I'm looking to buy some winter wheels- maybe with tires, but i'm not dead set on that at all. Wheels can be scratched, curb rashed, just as long as they aren't bent!
I'm in the Chicago area. I'd prefer to find someone local, but will consider paying for shipping if the deal is sweet enough.

I am in Grand Rapids and have some S-Lites from my 2004 with some great Wintersports on them. These no longer fit over my big break kit, so I was going to take the tires off the wheels and get some new wheels. I will sell you the set for $700.00, which a little more than it will cost me to replace the tires. These are 17" rims with 205/45/17's.
I will be in Chicago this weekend, moving my son into DePaul and back the following for a trade show.

I just sold my 2004 MCS without the winter tires, so they're now available. 215/40R17 Bridgestone "Blizzaks" on silver spoke ASA wheels, with a set of 4 "MINI Tire Tote' carrier/covers. Slight curb rash on one wheel... such is driving in the winter
75% or more tread left... only driven 1-1/2 seasons (about 6000-8000 miles)

I'm in northern NJ, so theese are a day or two away via UPS. Asking $500 plus shipping... cost me like $1200.
