Webb Motorsports Shop Update
Well, Happy New Year to everyone!
As you all know, our entire staff has been busy working on our customer service and meeting the demands of any and all orders. Thanks mostly to Bridget, that is going great!
Brian and I have been handling testing and installs here - right through the holidays.
Some of the big parts we have been working on are the Webb Motorsports Rear Swaybar and the Webb Motorsports Cat-back Exhaust. Both items are nearly finished, after several prototypes and revisions. The swaybars will be ready to ship within the next week or so, and I will be posting a separate thread with info on that by tomorrow. The exhaust has gone through what I hope to be the last redesign, and I will post the pics of some of the prototypes and testing we have done so far. If the latest design change does what we want it to, the exhaust will be ready within a couple of weeks. I certainly don't want to release anything before it meets our design objectives.
We are also happy to announce a more complete product line from the Webb Motorsports brand. Most have seen this coming, with the introduction of more and more WMS brand items - our cylinder head/cam, our camber plates, our droplinks, etc.
Now, we are working on a complete line with two tiers - Preferred and Extreme.
The Preferred line will include a standard cold air intake using our idea for the cowl induction and a larger diameter inlet tube as well as the largest surface area filter available in the current marketplace, a solid forged rear swaybar, a stainless steel supercharger pulley, a bushed rear control arm set, and an aluminum crank pulley. More Preferred items will continue to come online as well.
The Extreme line will be the showcase for Webb Motorsports and include our new swaybar, exhaust, titanium supercharger and crank pulleys, our heim jointed billet aluminum rear control arms, our throttle body, our cylinder head (with a new cam in the near future), our improved droplinks and eventually more unique MINI performance items.
Look for these items to be integrated into our online catalog shortly - and we will make vendor announcements as each new part has been tested and becomes ready for market.
