SneedSpeed Mini R53 Engine
The Sneed Super Cooper series is our premier line of engines and cylinder heads for MINIs, the line ranges from direct replacement to full race. All engines are cleaned, checked, bored, honed and hand assembled by one of our master race engine builders.
Super Cooper Street (direct replacement), engines receive block fly cut and sealing surface trueing, hot immersion environmentally friendly chemical cleaning baths, cylinder boring and honing, crankshaft polishing, new engine bearings and new direct replacement pistons. The cylinder head is also remanufactured to better than stock specs and installed on the engine with new heads bolts and head gasket. This is a direct replacement engine for stock or slightly modded MINIs. No ECU tuning required.
Super Cooper Sport (direct replacement and track use), engines receive block fly cut and sealing surface trueing, hot immersion environmentally friendly chemical cleaning baths, cylinder boring and honing, crankshaft polishing, new engine bearings, and high performance CP forged pistons. MINI S R53 Cylinder Head Sport verison with high performance camshaft is installed with ARP studs and Cometic MLS head gasket. These engines are great for dual propose street/track cars. They can handle high boost and high rpm. ECU tuning NOT required.
Super Cooper Race, engines receive block fly cut and sealing surface trueing, hot immersion environmentally friendly chemical cleaning baths, cylinder boring and honing, crankshaft polishing, new engine bearings, Carrillo forged piston connecting rods and high performance CP forged pistons. Comes with MINI S R53 Cylinder Head race version with high preformance camshaft is installed with ARP studs and Cometic MLS head gasket. Heavy duty track and race engine.
All engines come with a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. This does not include user caused failures from tuning, over rev, over boost, or negligence. All warranty claims and replacements will be at the sole discretion of Sneed4Speed.com.
