Wilwood kits confirmed- UPDATE 10/4

Late braking news.....

Wilwood has confirmed that they (company kits, not to be confused with TCE in house kits) will be offering both 11.75 and 12.19" kits. Both .81 rotor packages and both DynaPro caliper applications.

This mirrors some of what I had said earlier and is to help serve both those with smaller 15" wheels as well as the larger flavors.

The smaller version (their Road Race kit) is a beefier, 36 vane directional rotor where the larger size is the only kit to offer the zoomier looking slotted and drilled option, SRP rotor.

I will update the kits on my web page if need be, but I believe they are correctly listed now. Release dates are still not known for sure.

UPDATE 10/4

Wilwood FACTORY kits are shipping.

A call today regarding wheel fit prompted me to quote the Wilwood data sheet which arrived last week.

12.2 DynaPro BBK (12.2 x .81)

*Use as-is with aftermarket, deep dish 16" or larger wheels.
*Requires 1/8" thick wheel spacer to use OE 16" wheels.

11.75 DynaPro Race kit (11.75 x .81)

*Designed for use with 15" diameter road race wheels

One of the obvious questions remains; does the smaller 11.75 kit clear stock 16s? I cannot answer this, but I suspect not given radius change is only .220". At the least it will be VERY close.
