Should I get the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 or 1.2? And between those, should i get the Team Dynamics wheel or the Konig Feather? The Team Dynamics has 12 spokes, whereas the Konig has only 8...I want the wheel to look as big as possible (the bigger looking, the better), but do not know which will look bigger--a wheel with more spokes, or a wheel with less spokes? Either way, I think I am set on either of these two wheels, 1. Because they are both a good deal and 2. Because I like both styles very, very much!! But if anyone could PLS help me with that, I would very much appreciate it!! Thanks!

You can't go wrong with either of those. I personally like the Team Dynamics, but they are seen a lot on MINI's.

Not sure where your located, but AMVIV 5 is coming up in March and you will be able to find out A LOT of information at this event. www.amviv.com

We'll be there as well performing installs.

Looked at both. The TD are almost as common as S-lites anymore. The TD 1 in my opinion has a nicer look at the spoke/lip meetup than the 1.2. The Feather is a nice looking wheel too I think more spokes may look smaller due to less open space. small gaps trick the eye? looks that way to me. If you look at a skinny 5 spoke in an 18 (see the kazera pic below) it usually looks larger than say a bazillion spoke wheel like the O.Z. Superturismo in the same size.

MCSman, those wheels in the pic are Sportmax 003, or you can get them at Palo Uber under the name "Palo forged Signature series". They are the same wheel, just renamed/badged.

have you done a wrap for the door bar tubes? the silver on mine are are flakey in spots. can you make them? and if so, how hard so you think it would be for a semi-competent guy to wrap them? it would be SO much easier than pulling the panels to paint the tubes. i know there are leather covers for the tubes but, i would like to use something other than leather. besides, i bet there would be a decent demand for the product. i know alot of members who want to change their door oval and door tube appearance but don't want to pull the panels. personally i'd be happy with a simple vinyl that was a good match for my silver interior accents in my R50 for the door tubes. love all the stuff you do BTW: .

The website says custom badging is discontinued, wondering if you could resurrect one of the old designs or do just a custom MINI roundel overlay.

Also looking into the beltline kit, what is the rating on the vinyl, and is the Clubman kit available?

Shoot us an e-mail and let us know what emblem you're thinkin' about.

Our belt line kit is a high performance 3M vinyl. We have them available for the clubman as well.

I'm considering ordering the R53 Black Satin Wrapped Headlight Rings w/ core charge and returning my stock ones (with out washers)
My questions are:
1. How complicated/hard is it to replace the rings?
2. Where are you located?
3. Is there a discount if you buy mutiple wraps? (i.e. headlight rings, door handles...etc)
4. Ever thought about coming to boston?

A few different threads on ring removal. If you check his website, he has a few R53 package deals listed right now.

As far as the East Coast, you'd have to PM him. Although if he ever decides to come to Philly or surrounding areas....

Lyle my man, here is my dilemma, I really want to try some headlight wrap, but I'm sold on the idea. I kind of want to try both black & dark silver. But also am open to the fact that I might not like it & end up pulling it right off. Do you have any plans to offer a do it yourself kit? So I don't have to deal with sending my stuff all the way out there or deal with cores & core charges. It would be more economically feasible option for people like me who are on the fence.

Lyle, I have a question about the tail light wrap. Can it be safely removed (for whatever reason)?

Jah - We do not have a DIY kit available. However, some customers purchase the vinyl from us to wrap their headlight rings.
We can't give away our secrets now! haha

Jay - Yes, the tail light film is removable without any damage to the lens.

FYI - We will be in NY the end of Aug.!
