New ALTA PWI-1........Rev3

In stock again, and some new changes!!
For those who are not familiar with our system, there is lots of good info on our site about it, LOCATED HERE. This is not a thread aimed at why you should get a WI system (we all know its huge benefits on the MINI, you can see how just turning it on with no tuning get 10WHP), we are showing you what we have changed to make it an even better system.

HARNESS
This is the biggest change to our kit. The original version was setup with most all the wires and harnessed either hardwired to a board, or on one harness. Now the new system has a nice and tidy junction block where everything plugs in. This allows for easier, and cleaner install, along with being able to remove components individually.

Here is the junction as part of the pump assembly, nice and tidy!


DISPLAY
A simple but minor change to the display. Now with a black body, and white writing. This is easier to see, and less obtrusive to have staring at you all the time. Also we listened to what our customers were asking and we made the LED stay on to let the user be aware the system is on and working. Before, it would stay off, and pushing the test button would indicate if the system was turned on.


FLOW SENSOR
Customers that had our previous systems, may have experienced a low flow or fault once and a while, which was cause by a bad flow sensor. A certain number of these sensors got made with the wrong type of plastic which swells in the meth/water. This caused the spiral inner part to stick once and a while.

While Aquamist has been very good about replacing these for customers, it was something that needed to be revamped completely so this never happens again. The new flow sensor has nickel plated brass parts now inplace of some of the plastic parts.

BLOCKING SOLENOID
Its no longer purple!!! While most people hide the pump assembly and don't see this, we got rid of the purple solenoid for a nicer looking grey solenoid. It still functions the same to allow your nozzles to be installed in the intake manifold, and not allow for water to drain into the system when turned off.


MISC STUFF

The rest is all the same, includes the nozzles, filter, fittings, wires, and all that good stuff. Of course everything is meant to be used with 100% METH if the customer chooses to. The Brian unit is the same but with a slightly longer delay for when to detect a blocked nozzle. Our failsafe wires are setup to do the same as it did before, but now the resistor to trick the ECU into thinking the OEM solenoid is still there is an plug and play item. Simply remove the plugs from the harness, and snap in the resistor! DONE! No more soldering to keep your CEL off.
