DT :: Make-A-Wish Charity Run
Hi everyone,
Every year the Michigan MINI Motoring Club (MMMC) does several big event of the year, and the last two last years we have turned them into charity events. This year, as in past, we helped out at the Dragon and sold popcorn and soda for a good cause and helped to raise some where over 2K for the charity. The other event is our Great Lakes Crossing Tour. We thought we would like to visit cool places in and around our state. While we are doing that why not make it a charity run. So we picked Make-A-Wish because it deals with kids and one of our members had a son that is in the Make-A-Wish program. This year tour is September 14th thru 16th and goes up into Canada and back into Michigan. It’s never too late to decide to go on a fun trip, so if you wanted to join in, you can find all the info here: http://www.miniglc.info/
BUT you could always help with just a donation. We have been collecting money around the shop, lose change, and a few bucks here and there, but could always use more. Last year we raised almost 11K, but this year we would like a bit more! If you would like to make a donation, just send a check made out Make-A-Wish in whatever amount you want…. a dollar…5 dollars…10 dollars. If we all give a little, it turns into a lot to make a kids dream come true. We will be taking money till the 18th of September.
