Oem mini crossbars for r56

Hi Everyone...new member here. recently purchased an 06 Cooper S CheckMate. Looking for OEM Crossbars but am told that that the aluminum ones for R56 will not fit R53. can someone tell if this is true? i know the 06 and 07 are slightly difference in appearance.

Looking forward to any help on this and much appreciated.

The motor and chassis are different too.
Please explain what you mean by Crossbars. Do you mean chassis braces? Roof racks?

If you mean roof racks, The OEM ones require drilling holes in your roof. So I would got aftermarket ones instead.
