Dealer experience
Hey everybody, I am look to buy a mini b4 the new year or at least put an order in. Anyway the closest dealer to me is Mini of the Hamptons in Southampton and I am wondering if anyone has some experience with them to share. I have heard really good things about Prestige Mini in NJ but I don't want to make the trip if I don't have to. Any info or experience you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

In my experience, MINI of the Hamptons is fine to work with, although I am not one of their customers myself.
Just configure the car you want, print it and go in to order. Then, negotiate. End of the month is good timing.

I purchased my car from Jim in Southampton and it was a great experience. I live near Hartford and the local dealer was, um, unaccommodating (to say the least). I did everything over the phone with Jim and just took the train out to pick up the car.
