Took the Mini on a July 4th weekend trip to Weaverville in Northern California. They had a traditional small town celebration with all the social events. Drove Highway 36 and 3 on the way up. Lots of curves and fun to drive in the Mini. Stayed at the Weaverville hotel. It is nicely remodeled in the original 1850's style. Didn't stay at the Callahan Ranch Hotel. It needs work, but is for sale, if someone is up to the task. It is on what was the Oregon Trail and was a stage stop. Real California back country. Drove from Callahan to Gazelle on the way back and stopped to take a picture at the bottom of the road when Mt. Shasta came in to view.
